California Contemporary Ballet members are selected through a careful audition process
CCBallet provides significant challenges and opportunities for its artists by staging technically demanding and emotionally charged productions. California Contemporary Ballet members are selected through a careful audition process or handpicked for specific project, where the Artistic Director searches for dancers willing to perform at the highest caliber. We currently seek additional talent for new projects or company placement, so if you are an experienced dancer, male or female, with solid training in ballet and modern dance, we hope you will consider contacting us for audition. We also often utilize special talent and encourage dancers, gymnasts and actors of all ages to contact us or attend an audition. If a candidate is selected through the audition process to join the company, they will have the opportunity to perform throughout the year in a number of community-based productions, concerts and festivals throughout Southern California. They may also find themselves working with accomplished company alumni as well as renowned guest choreographers and distinguished visiting artists. CCBallet dance productions feature innovative choreography, original music, custom-designed, hand-made costumes, light and set design.
